Body Language Part III

Different types of smiles:

A coy smile is when a head is tilted sideways and downwards thus the person must look up at the person receiving the smile. It generally means a person is being coy hence the name.
A faked smile generally appears quickly and is fixed for longer than it should be. It generally looks unnatural and does not extend to the eyes. A practiced fake smile would also have a lower jaw than a real smile.
A tight lipped smile or one stretched in a straight line across a face with teeth that are hidden tends to be a sign of rejection, dislike and distrust. It also is often used when the person has a secret that they want to keep secret.
A twisted smile or one in which each side of a persons face is showing different usually opposing emotions is one that either shows mixed feelings or sarcasm...sarcasm and similar emotions of dry humor being the most common usage of this smile.
A Natural smile is a smile that is natural. Its reasons should be obvious but to clarify it signifies happiness or satisfaction.

Miscellaneous Extras:

If a Bottom lip is jutting out this often means the person is crying or is near tears and is probably upset. In which case go man up or woman up and have a little human decency to go and comfort this person instead of reading clever blogs and amusing yourself with reading peoples body language.
Nail Biting is often originally caused by a strong negative emotion borne often of fear in very rare cases from repression of another behavior.  This usually begins in childhood. Later on even if the problem of what it originally stemmed from is forgotten it is still found to be comforting and thus signifies the need of comfort from stress.
Chewing Gum is in some cases is a sign of tension and of being inwardly suppressed but keep in mind that a person could be chewing gum for many other reasons...perhaps they are trying to overcome a nicotine addiction or maybe they simply like it. All gum chewers are not either suppressed individuals with lonely and/or abusive childhoods or drug addicts.
